About

After 10 years of working for Corporate America, I quit my job and went to art school in September of 2005. My first BA Degree in Business/HR Management was earned right after high school. Although I have always taken school seriously, I was extremely passionate about school the second time around. Returning to school for an art degree was a risk, but I knew that I had to take it.

In May of 2008, I earned my BA in Graphic Design with a minor in Fine Art. During my final semester, I earned several awards for both design & illustration, which landed me an internship with the incredible Cooper Smith & Company. My internship came to an end in August 2008, when I decided to go into business for myself. Sweet Harvey LLC opened in September 2008.

Always more interested in creating imagery, my time is now focused primarily on illustration & printmaking. My artistic style is modern, graphic and slightly whimsical. All of my illustration work is hand-drawn via Adobe Illustrator. Depending on client needs, I can also work traditionally via hand sketching or painting.

THE PRINT SHOP

My journey into printmaking stemmed from a need to bring my digital illustration into a tangible medium. Letterpress & screen-printing are a perfect fit for my simple, graphic drawing style. My print shop opened in September of 2009. This is the place where modern illustration comes to life in print!

The paper goods line that I offer is printed on our antique Vandercook SP15 printing press. This is a gorgeous piece of machinery, weighing in at 705LB’s. Needless to say, she takes up most of the print shop. This press prints up to 13″ x 19″ poster size prints. My line of fabric goods is a mix of screen-printed work and sewing. Each piece is individually printed and then incorporated into a piece of work with other fabrics.

All of my printed work is available through my online ETSY shop.
